If you have no experience riding a two wheeled vehicle please come to the shop any day leading up to the tour for a free lesson. We cover a lot of ground on this tour and it will be more enjoyable if you have some experience riding before the tour. This is strongly recommended and if you can not ride appropriately the tour guide may not let you go on the tour.
An average speed of 30 miles per hour will be maintained during the tour. We ask that you always keep a safe distance between yourself and other drivers. This is Hawaii the environment and the roads are different from what you may be used to. We will drive slow in areas with gravel, sand, loose pavement, pot holes, and water. Eye protection is required by law. Closed toed shoes are recomended. We will drive in the right lane of traffic as a common courtesy to the other vehicles on the road. If the traffic gets too fast we will pull off to road and allow traffic to pass us. Our guides are experienced and will not lose sight of the group. Please keep stopping to a minimum unless it is an emergency or a scheduled stop on the tour. Also let’s always remember to have fun mopeds are a great way to experience Hawaii.
